Suddenly i had a sweet tooth yesterday and i was not in mood to prepare elaborate sweet or dessert. I was looking for simple sweet preparation, when i browsed for the recipe i ended up in Kailas Kitchen blog. Her vanilla maida cake impressed me, it required minimal ingredients and simple steps to prepare. Though the outer texture of my maida burfi is not so perfect, it came out very well and decent for my first try. Thanks to her!

(Since i had only rose essence in hand i used the rose essence and pink color to the maida burfi).
